A Year of Smiles – Day 291

Reason to SMILE #291: HE’S GOT YOU!

Adobe Spark (32)

Matthew 6:25 – 26

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Read those verses again and let that thought wash over you.

By the way, that question – it’s rhetorical. But in case you are unsure, the answer is “Yes! Yes you are!” And our God will take care of you.

He’s got you!

So stop with the worrying. It’s time to SMILE!

  1. God is so faithful and keeps His promises. He truly cares, despite the challenges we do face daily. He promised that we shall not be overwhelmed by challenges, rather He shall make a way of escape so we can bear them, and eventually overcome. We are truly valuable in His sight.

Thank you so much for this inspiring post, and have a great week ahead.👍

    • Your comment reminded me of an old song that I haven’t heard in years. It says, “Oh, yes! He cares. I know He cares. His heart is touched with my grief. When the days grow weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares.” I’m so very glad He cares!!!

      • It is the chorus to the old song, “Does Jesus Care?” Don’t hear it much anymore but its message is timeless.

      • Yes, a timeless message. Sadly, hymns are not so popular in most circles anymore. Some of these hymns are so inspirational and timeless. In fact, one of my recent posts was inspired by a hymn. You bet I still keep one handy 😄😄. I’m still so glad He cares.🌷
